Walked a lot on this day…from Poble Sec to Ramblas, La Boqueria, Gotico Quarter and finally Font Magica de Montjuic. I forgot I walked around early this morning to try and find breakfast somewhere in the neighborhood in Carre de Tapioles in Poble Sec. Took a look at a few cafes but couldn’t pull the trigger so settled on some orange juice at a grocery store and a full breakfast at the Sol Bar. Waiter had little patience with tourists so other than point at items gave up on trying to communicate in Spanish. Probably a good thing as my Spanish wasn’t much good. When one walks around Barcelona you can’t help but notice all the wall murals. It makes me wonder why and I hope to find the root cause some day when googling the internet. So laden with breakfast I returned to the apartment and the 3 girls.
We agreed to meet Ben at La Boqueria. Ben’s hotel was close to the market and had already been there but didn’t mind going there again. It was a long walk but nobody complained. There were mostly wall murals to see along the way but other than the Palau Guell and Mosaic de Joan Miro o d’el Pla de l’Os. The La Boqueria was close by and there we went.
The rest of the album is here.
